Party at the Patton Home

Last night we had a bit of a crowded house! : ) One of the Missionary Families that our church supports is in town right now. (The McCauley's, from Austria) We had them, plus the Younces and Milliken's over last night . . . 16 people in total - 8 of them being children age 8 and under (8, 6, 5, 5, 3, 2, 2, and 8 mos!)

(L-R: Emma, Ali, Kati, Graci, Meg)

We had a really fun time, in spite of the fact that our A/C is on the fritz and it was 80 degrees in our house : ) The kids played outside until dinner was ready - all barefoot, hence the above picture. I just cleaned my carpets, so we did a group footbath : ). We enjoyed quite a feast (that everyone contributed to) and had some fun chat time. The big girls (Ali, Emma, Graci & Kati) enjoyed a movie and a sleepover in the basement. Meg and Maddux (the lone boy) got to sleep in Ali and Emma's beds and thought that was pretty fabulous. After bedtime, the adults enjoyed a game of Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture . . . and oh, by the way . . . the Girls won!! I can't leave out that important fact!
