House Update

House progress is still coming along nicely. Admittedly, it doesn't feel like it's going as fast as it did at the beginning, but we expected that. The things that are happening now are smaller and more time consuming. However, we talked to our builder the other day, and he is thinking that they will be done early!

We now have a driveway!


And our patio - not a great picture, but you get the idea. This was supposed to be on 10' x 10' (standard with the house) but we upgraded it b/c pouring concrete is WAY cheaper than building a deck (especially at this stage of the game). So, now it's 17' x 20'. That will be especially nice since are yard will be seeded and not very playable this summer!


Paint! Yes, the first coat is up. I was imagining it a bit darker, but I'm sure another coat will darken it. We asked them to leave the girls' rooms white (We're planning to paint those and would rather paint over white than khaki).

Here is Meg saying "Mommy, I love being in my room!" I think this is the first time that it really hit her! So cute . . .
